Breakfast Club AU: The Brain

Description

Dear Mr. Vernon,
We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong, but we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us, in the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain and an athlete and a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question?
Sincerely yours, The Breakfast Club

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Breakfast Club came on TV today and so while I was watching it, I had a spark of inspiration geared towards my Breakfast Club AU, so I ended up making some edits. Lastly is Hiccup Haddock as Brian Johnson, the brain.
Hiccup never really fit in, eventually earning him a spot in the "nerd" category of school. He was intelligent, no doubt, yet he never really lived up to his parent's expectations. His father constantly puts pressure on him to be manlier, something he's not, and thus is often disappointed in his son's accomplishments. Regardless, Hiccup had always held his grades in high esteem so when he got an F on a project, he nearly committed suicide from self disappointment and fear of what his father would think. Hence why he was sentenced to Saturday detention. His awkward nature and smarts are often the source of ridicule from a particular member of The Breakfast Club during Saturday detention but his smarts eventually end up earning him the job of writing the esteemed essay Principal Pitchiner assigned for them.

These are all practically perfect! I mean, Violet isn't quite so weird and Rapunzel's not nearly as sassy, but they work pretty well! But I think for this one, younger Hiccup might have worked better
