INCREDIBLE RISE OF THE BRAVE TANGLED DRAGONS- WANDERLOVE AU
WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD.

It's been four years since Violet Parr finally climbed out of her shell, and that first date with heartthrob Tony Rydinger was the beginning of a fantastic relationship. Her entire life, Violet's only emotional outlet had been her art, the one thing she was proud of. What started as a bad habit of turning herself invisible and crawling into her father's office to draw on scrap sheets of paper from underneath his desk turned into a bonafied love affair, a passion she couldn't escape. She was thrilled when she discovered Tony loved art, too. But it soon became the only thing they had in common. Tony's art was much more professional and realistic than Violet's "doodles" and he often criticized her fantasy works. The tension was always there between them, but never took off until a few weeks before the end of the year. The two had an entire future planned out. They'd go on an extravagant European vacation over the summer and in fall, attend a prestige art school together. But it wasn't until the day when the admissions letters arrived that their relationship died. Violet got in, Tony didn't. The two eventually broke up from there and Violet's art inspiration left with her ex-boyfriend.
For Violet, the split was devastating. Tony was her first love, her only love. They were going to have a life together, be artists together. Everything was clear and perfect and true. But it was a fantasy. In an attempt to lift their friend's spirit, Violet's two best friends, Kari and Astrid, decided the three of them would embark on their own European vacation. But after weeks of preplanning and whatnot, the two backed out. The opposites who never got along well, responsible Kari and edgy Astrid finally agreed on something: that Violet wasn't ready for a getaway like this. They were both convinced Violet wasn't the traveling type, that she was still healing and didn't have what it took. But Violet knew she had to getaway. So, she packed her bags and, with a travel brochue as her inspiration, left to see the world. But her tour group wasn't all that is was cracked up to be. Elderly people everywhere.
But when Violet's purse is stolen in the middle of a small town with her tour group, she runs into a couple of backpacking siblings, the mysterious, Peter Pan-esque Jack and the young, outspoken Emma. Emma instantly takes a liking to Violet and, without a second word, Vi ditches her tour group for Emma and Jack. They travel until they get to a recluse little island hostel with other backpackers where, early one morning, Emma tells Violet she's leaving for Flores for work. Violet is crushed and terrified of being alone with Jack but Emma convinces her she'll be fine. So the two embark on a fantastic jungle journey to a small island where Jack teaches scuba diving at a local dive shop.
There, Violet meets Jack's extremely tall, bad influence friend, Kristoff, who sells surf and scuba gear for a living. Throughout the journey, Jack reveals little tidbits of his sketchy memories to Violet, but she has no idea of his past as a mischievous bad-boy and the trouble he got into with Kristoff.
Violet tries to convince herself that over the course of this journey, she hasn't been falling for Jack, that he's her travel brother, nothing more and nothing less, and that any relationships she gets involved in have to be meaningless so she can easily forget, but it's hard to deny her feelings for Jack, especially when she meets two of his dive students, Tooth and Rapunzel. Both are bubbly and sweet and Violet feels threatened by Tooth. She's beautiful, she's friendly, she loves diving just like Jack and, most of all, she likes Jack. She's constantly flirting with him and trying to get his attention, much to Violet's dismay though she knows she doesn't own him. Rapunzel, on the other hand, Violet becomes much quicker friends with, also an artist.
It isn't until one night at the dock after Lobsterfest when Jack and Violet truly reveal their feelings for each other, but one note goes sour and Jack gets furious, storming off and disappearing. Emma is Violet's only hope to save the relationship that they just began.
- Violet Parr (Bria Sandoval)
Good girl, artist, shy, longing for adventure.
- Jack Frost (Rowan West)
Bad boy with a sketchy past. Loves diving and backpacking. Popular within his group of diving buddies.
-Emma Overland (Starling West)
Young humanitarian. Outspoken and kind. Openminded and friendly towards all.
-Tony Rydinger (Toby Kelsey)
Violet's first love. Also an artist, but thought very highly of himself. Popular. Heartthrob.
-Astrid Hofferson (Olivia Luster)
One of Violet's best friends since eighth grade. In-your-face, edgy. Tells it like it is.
-Kari McKeen (Reese Kinjo)
One of Violet's best friends since second grade. Mild, responsible, hospitable.
-Kristoff Bjorgman (Jack)
Jack's old-time, bad-influence diving buddy. Sells scuba and surf gear for a living. Had a fling with Emma way back when.
-Tooth (Emily)
Tourist. Best friends with Rapunzel. Cropped black hair and a double nose piercing. No sense of personal space/privacy, super bubbly, loves diving just like Jack. Flirts with Jack like no tomorrow.
-Rapunzel (Ariel)
Tourist. Best friends with Tooth. Long blonde braid and bubbly personality. Hesitant with new things but likes trying them regardless. Super friendly. Also an artist. Admires Jack and flirts with him but not as much as Tooth.
AU: Wanderlove
Ship: Frostfield (JackxViolet)
Based on the book "Wanderlove" by Kirsten Hubbard.

It's a great book with some really cute fluffy moments, and I highly recommend it ^_^ It kept making me think of Jack and my OC because Rowan just reminds me so much of Jack, it's scary XD And I can totally imagine Emma as becoming an outspoken humanitarian. I don't know, I just got so much deja vu reading this book because of Jack and my OC from RP and how much like them they were, it just got me so hard in the feels XD

Also, I love the idea of art being Violet's emotional outlet. Like, back in her shy days, she couldn't find the strength to speak so instead she'd scribble out her emotions and frustrations because we all know it's unhealthy to keep it bottled up. I picture it as one of those secret guilty pleasures, like she doodled but she kept it hidden or something, you know?

(PS: I think I used the word "recluse" wrong. Whoops.)
